Bodegas Fernando Castro is a family-owned winery founded in 1850 in Santa Cruz de Mudela, Spain. It is one of the oldest wineries in the region, with 380 hectares of vineyards located around Finca Los Altos. The winery combines modern techniques with traditional methods, producing a vast range of wines, and has won a lot of prestigious international competitions.
Produced by Bodegas Fernando Castro, Viña Lastra Tempranillo is a dry red wine from the Valdepenas region in Spain. Made from Tempranillo grapes, this young wine features a vibrant cherry red color with ruby undertones. It presents a powerful and complex aroma with spicy notes. On the palate, it is flavorful, meaty, and well-rounded.
This wine pairs well with a variety of dishes, including red meats, pasta, poultry, aged cheeses, cured meats, and Iberian pork. The recommended serving temperature is between 16°C and 18°C.
